September 22: I’ll be heading to the one-day Agents, Editors, Writers Conference at Belgrade Lakes, Maine. Sponsored by Solstice MFA Program, the conference is a chance to writers to be critiqued and have their work commented on by professional literary agents Jenny Bent (Bent Agency), Linda Camacho (Gallt & Zacker Literary Agency) or Rebecca Podos (Rees Agency) or Candlewick Press Editor Carter Hasegawa. (Registration is, I think still open at: agentseditorswriters.com.)
September 29: I’ll be at Maine Writers and Publishers Alliance PITCH 2018 at University of Southern Maine’s Glickman Library —> pitching, not receiving, for my YA sci-fi The Sixth Sense of January, a time travel to the beginnings of humanity.
Published in April: my short story “Tree Song” (stupid title) in Scribings, Volume 6, Regatherings, which has a great cover photo by Otto Klingspor, our former exchange student, and interior artwork by Josiah Orm Hansen, our grandson from Troy ME.
March 2, Launch party for Scribings, vol. 6: Regatherings will be 7 – 8:30 pm, Friday, March 2, at Curtis Memorial Library on Pleasant Street in Brunswick ME. Come help us celebrate and hear selections from the anthology read by their authors.
December 4, Scribings Volume 6: Regatherings with my fantasy short story "Tree Song" published.
Thursday, August 10, Island Readers and Writers get-together, Seal Cove.
Saturday, May 11, my short story "A Good Sport" appeared in the Saturday Evening Post online.
